The Denny Abbey & Farmland Museum situated just off the A10 a few miles north of Cambridge is well worth a visit, particularly for anybody interested in agriculture and old farm machinery. We were invited to attend the Stationary Engine open days held over the May Day holiday weekend.

Ron Knight's Collection

Following a talk at one of the Bourne Bygones Club's winter meetings in early 2007, the club was invited to visit Ron Knight's collection of old harvesting machinery, tractors and steam engines at his premises in Little Casterton, near Stamford, in Lincolnshire.

Gordon Easton's Collection

We last visited the Easton Collection in our inaugural year of the Fens Vintage website in 2003 with the Bourne Bygones Club, but in 2006, we were part of a large group from the East Anglia Group of NVTEC. Gordon's collection can be described as all-encompassing covering horse drawn carts and implements, stationary engines, tractors, cars, lorries, gypsy and living vans, bygones, even a WWII jeep and associated memorabilia.
